I have a 2018 JLU that I bought used that was originally a soft top and was converted to a hard top before I purchased it. It does not have the hard top latches over the review mirror. How hard is to add them? It doesn’t leak but I would just like the additional locking points. The main latches it has up front but just not these.

Can you post a pic of what's missing? I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

As you can see there are no front latches. I have the main latches but again those over the rear view mirror are missing. I guess when they added the hard top they didn’t stall those because with a soft top you don’t need them

I think what you are looking for is part number 1 in the diagram.

Actually I think it is Part #9 and #2(screws). The front of the panels by the windshield is straight, the angular sides go to the rear.

To the OP, looks like you need to pop some of the plastic off around the rear view mirror to get the two screws in. Should be pretty straight forward and not too difficult using a cheap trim clip tool kit.
