My invitation still stands, if anyone DOESN'T want half-doors on a granite crystal...PM me so I can discuss paying your cost if you include them as part of your order for me.

I thought of that, but your info may not be fully accurate, may be a short term problem, or I may not need the premium uppers if the regular uppers cause no delay.

That’s a great idea! I’ll take some of that action as well—I’ll pay for the Granite Dual Door group option, if anyone is willing to order and wait for the premium uppers. Only need the 2-doors.

You'd probably want to offer a slight premium for folks who would consider doing that. I know in my case, there's another forum member who has an identical build to me, who went into 'build' on the same day and ordered on the same day. I'm at ~2 weeks into building, while they were built in 1 day. The theory is that it's because of the extra time to re-key and do the painting. It's probably fair to assume there will be some impact on their build time, which could be small, or could be substantial depending on parts/supply chain.

I don't mean to be a downer, but it would be a huge favor for someone to add them to their order if they don't want it themselves. I wish you luck though, because they seem well worth it -- you just might have to incentivize folks to get traction

Once FCA solves the supply issue orders with dual doors won't hold anything up - last year my build went through in less than 5 weeks with the dual doors and Premium Uppers.

Valid point, Panda.
I probably shouldn’t have assumed it was understood that we’d negotiate the orderers compensation. I’d definitely make it worth their effort.
