You just need to get two of these flat bolts:

There are two hard top mounting points that are covered when you have the soft top on. They mounting points are located closest to the back seat. They are covered with the soft top bracket. You would just need to undo that bracket enough to install the D bracket that GPCA provides and the flat bolt. Once installed, you can re-secure the soft top mounting bracket back over that GPCA mounting point.

Thanks for the clarification. Once the flat head bolts are installed is the soft top bracket flush with the body or does it lift and cause any interference?

It is flush to the vehicle body.
