I just wanted to drop by with a quick review for the GoWithoutDoors portable door cart.
Like many here, I tried my hand at building my own door cart with PVC pipes. I don’t know about everyone else’s results, but I was not happy with mine as it kept sagging with the weight of the doors.
In August, I came across GoWithoutDoors. It is effectively a foldable door holder on wheels. When folded up, it is the size of a small luggage. For me, it holds my full doors while I have my half doors on, and vice versa. The build feels incredibly solid and it is completely made in the USA, which is important to me.
I’ve seen many other door holders, but I don’t think I’ve seen anything that was quite this portable. One example use-case is the ability to take your doors off at the hotel and leave them in your hotel room as you can simply roll the cart onto an elevator to your room.
I think this is a great implement for multiple purposes and for those who can’t mount a holder onto their garage walls but need something small and mobile enough to get out of the way if needed.
