Had mine break out of no where I kept hearing popping sounds in the winter as window would defrost then randomly it just cracked all the way up 6-9 inches and you can tell it’s from the inside out on the passenger side lower edge. Waiting to see what the dealer and gg warranty say happened after 6 months of having it. And that’s with it sitting in the dealer shop for 35 days due to gear position sensor recall and malfunctioned I have hardly any power in 4-5-6 gears some days. I’ve had the clutch plate over heat going down the highway when no reason it should be over heating. I have 2 more recalls right now. It’s just been one thing after another with this thing. Saved up for 3 years to buy a wrangler always wanted one since I was a kid. I probably won’t be buying another one. Definitely not a new one or a manual transmission at all 2024 wrangler sport s 4 door. The gear ratio is shit the clutch feels like it doesn’t fully engage half the time. Took 3 months to get reimbursed for rental cars while it sat in the shop.I purchased the GG as a replacement for my standard glass after a rock hit it after only having my Jeep for 4 months. I went with the GG thinking it would be a nice upgrade and reduce the likelihood that I would have another such event…. I am not that lucky. I literally got in my Jeep turned it on and a circumferential crack appeared out of nowhere. It happened right in front of me. I have only had the GG for 4 months, is that the life span of MOPAR glass now? Never had issues like this with either my JK or TJ. I took it to the dealer because GG is supposed to have its own warranty, but I am not holding hope that MOPAR will replace it. The installer said they have never seen anything like it and that it was probably a defect in manufacturing. Has anybody had any similar circumstances? No chips or anything, maybe the change in weather caused it?
