The Goose Gear IceBox 1.3 contains a complete fridge slide integrated into a Goose Gear Module as well as a storage drawer on top. It features a 100% extension fridge tray with Lock-In/Lock-Out capability. With the Goose Gear IceBox, you can safely store gear on top of your fridge and still have complete access without having to unload your gear to access your food.

The additional top drawer comes in really handy for keeping camp kitchen essentials or tools handy and easy to get to - no more unpacking bags or boxes looking for something you frequently use!

The IceBox 1.3 with Top Drawer is designed for the Jeep Wrangler JKU, Jeep Wrangler JLU and Toyota FJ Cruisers.

FRIDGE LOCATIONS IN THE JEEP JLU: The depth of the Jeep JLU interior is shorter than the JKU and therefore, if you are planning on using a IceBox 1.3 module in a JLU you will not be able to fit an ARB 50 on the Driver side. You will ONLY be able to fit an Engel 45, Dometic CXF40 or CFX3-45 if you remove the rear handles. On the passengers side there is more depth and you can fit the ARB 50 or similar sized fridges.

It is a great deal. I have heard that some cross county movers will take extra items at a relatively low rate if they have room on a truck. Not sure if you're in a metro area, might be something to look at. Even if it cost a $100 it would still be a bargain.

This might sound like a dumb question, but can it be used with the rear seats in / regular position and how does it mount securely to the Jeep. I will research some cross country shipping. Thanks!

Yes it can with the rear seats in the up position. Goose makes a rear platform that secures to the back of the Jeep floor. The platform has tapped attaching points for this unit and I suspect other Goose gear products. The attached pic show the platform and if you look on the left side there are attaching points. That's were the unit was mounted. Hope this helps explain how it is configured.
