That's talking about the change oil message coming on as early as 3500 miles. It doesn't say any recondmendtion on when to do your first oil changeFound it... "... change oil message as early as 3,500 miles..." Page 206 of the user guide.

Called the local jeep dealer and they recommend the first oil change at 3,000-3,500 milesThat's talking about the change oil message coming on as early as 3500 miles. It doesn't say any recondmendtion on when to do your first oil change
That makes sense for the first oil change. What did they say about follow up oil change mileage? Every 5,000? Every 7,500? Or ?Called the local jeep dealer and they recommend the first oil change at 3,000-3,500 miles
Correct. That's because the owners manual and users manual doesn't have a recommendation. It says a message will tell you when to change it. The first oil change might be recommended by the system at a different increment than the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. oil change. It takes in multiple factors to determine the recommendation (1st, or subsequent oil changes). However, it would be good to know what an average amount of miles would be. Especially in case the system has a malfunction and doesn't pop up a message to change the oil. That's talking about the change oil message coming on as early as 3500 miles. How do you get in touch with "JeepChat"?You can speak with Jeep chat and complain about the absence of the physical owner's manual - and they will mail you one.
Mine is on the way.
It is also available in its entirety on your Uconnect screen inside the vehicle.
How do you get the "INFO" button? I don't have that on my app.I think the change can come at any time. Depends on how you drive the vehicle. The car should let you know when it's due for one. I also have the Uconnect app on my phone and that tells you the life remaining.

Google Jeep chat or visit https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/jeep/ and click on chat. However, they aren't super helpful (they used to be, I think they may have outsourced it or something). Better to call them at 866-362-2146How do you get in touch with "JeepChat"?
How did you get your Uconnect app to work? Do you actually have to subscribe (and pay) for that extra service? My understanding when I left the lot was that it was part of the Uconnect system and not extra...but everything the app has told me since suggests otherwise.I think the change can come at any time. This is exactly what I was told as well after specifically asking when the first change should be for the new vehicle. Both the service dept and salesperson said to just follow the oil health system in the Jeep and it'll let me know when I'm due.To go with Oil life gauge
Not sure. It was there when I downloaded it from the Apple app store. There are two apps they offer on iOS, not sure about Android devices. Make sure to download "Uconnect" NOT "Uconnect Access". The one you need has a blue app icon. How do you get the "INFO" button? I don't have that on my app.
To be honest, I don't know if I got it to work before or after I subscribed to the service. The Jeep came with a free one-year subscription plan. I do remember going through the subscription setup process via the button on the powered rear-view mirror. (it called the company when i pressed the button)How did you get your Uconnect app to work?
