JL Maintenance Schedule by Miles?

Does anyone have a maintenance schedule by miles? The owners manual for my JLU has nothing like that, am I just supposed to rely on the JL to tell me when to do maintenance? The PDF is unavailable on Jeeps site too.

I can get you maint schedule tomorrow when I get to work. I'm not able to get it to download to my phone and screen shots would be hard to read.

Good question. Also, what recommended mileage for the first oil change? And if I want to have the oil changed earlier (as a precaution), is it best to change it twice before the recommended 2nd change to get it back on schedule? I don't mind the extra cost for extra piece of mind.

There isn't a need to change the oil before the 1st recommended oil change. Some people prefer because that's the way it was done back in the day.

I change change my oil at 7500 miles and have 0 problems.

Yeah, but with my historical luck, you'd change your oil before the recommended time too. lol

I always change my oil at 5,000 miles since that's typically when you want to rotate your tires. So, to keep things simple, the Jeep gets fresh oil, fluids, and a tire rotation every 5k.

You can speak with Jeep chat and complain about the absence of the physical owner's manual - and they will mail you one.

Mine is on the way.

There is a much newer version of the manual you have posted here..... Third Edition is the current version.

I think I read 7,500 miles... Can anyone confirm? I plan on having the first change at the half way point of 7,500 (or what ever the first recommended change is at). It might not make a difference for the life of the car, but you never know. It doesn't cost much and is worth it "in case".
