No spring compressor needed. Loosen the control arm bolts, unhook the sway bars, unhook the shocks, and then let the axle droop all the way down until the coil spring just falls right out. Reassemble in reverse order.

The rear is easier than the front. The hard part of the job wasn't actually installing the spacers. The hard part was dealing with the horrendous instructions, hardware that needed to be modified to work properly, and figuring out how to monkey that front passenger corner bump stop extension bolt and nut together.

The bump stops were easy. I didn't take the control arms loose.

Well off to a slow and pretty bad start... decided to start with the rear since that was 'easier' install. Pretty frustrating.

Issues so far...
1) I can already tell one of the welds for the spring spacer washer was done poorly and I need auger that out so it will thread properly.
2) Can't re-seat the spring at current axle droop. Looks like the lower track bar is still keeping it from going any lower even tho the bolt was fully removed. Tried jacking up the far side of the axle but that didn't seem to help. Suggestions? Do I need to remove the whole track bar at the frame as well?
3) Step 11 clearly says torque upper sway bar link to 75ft/lbs which I don't think I got close too before deciding that was far too much. I had reviewed every video and guide multiple times to make sure i had placement and spacing right. I took it back apart to double check and looks like I may have already damaged the sway link. The bolt no longer slides out and you can see the the metal in there crushed. This may derail my whole install until I get this replaced? See pix below.

Update #2

Had to drill out the spring spacer washer but got that on.

Got the springs on np after I undid the brake line brackets to give some more slack on those lines and wiggled things around.

Got the sway bar on but read in later directions the bottoms are 55ft/lbs so I used that spec. Will be calling RC on monday to get a new sway link.

Last absurd issue is that I followed the directions and lowered the vehicle and now the track bar bolts don't line up. Any suggestions on how to re-align those?

Just have someone turn the wheel tell it lines up. Your steering wheel will need adjusted after that to get it straight easy Peasy.

You'll need a 14mm wrench I believe to loosen the pinch bolt then just have someone watching while you turn the knurled adjustment sleeve.

It's 15mm on the steering adjustment nut.

Terrible to see that you had the same issue I had with the washer in the rear.

Mine had tons of space with the brake lines, drive shaft, etc. still connected. Odd.

This installation is harder than it should be due to crappy parts, and horrible instructions.

Got it done! Took closer to 10 hours and wasted and extra two cuz I was none too bright and removed the bolts for the control arms and not the listed track bar. That took some creative jack engineering to get that back together. Still not sure if I did damage to the sway bar bushings and crush sleeves torquing as high as the directions state.

Looks taller! Almost absurdly with the 33"s still on there. 37"s go on tomorrow. STOKED!
