Even i got the 8.4 without the code and bought from ebay

Your cousin can probably call whoever he used for his insurance to get the VIN.

Ofherwise people are probably going to be pretty leery of this lol. Including myself.

How do I know this things not stolen?

I thought they said the code was on the back of these. I can send mine out to you if you would like I have a 7 inch with bezel and great condition. I can do $500 and send the code also.
