Front bumper torque

Just wondering if anyone out there knows what the torque specs are for 2024 rubi front bumper is. I bought a new bumper from extreme terrain but nothing in the install video or custom er support.any help greatly appreciated customer

I want to say that the Warn winch plate instructions said to torque the 8 frame horns nuts to 85 ftlbs

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bumper torqued before to be honest. I just make em as tight as it was when it came off.

Check the proper torque specs for everything, always. Save that thread provided above.

Everything has a torque spec, even the license plate bolts. Not everything really needs a torque wrench though.

I thought for a minute, why torque the bumper?

Then it occurred to me that the tow hooks must need to be torqued in order to rely on them to have any kind of outside force put on them.

According to this chart on the forum it looks like 66 ft lbs is the spec for the bumper to frame. I kinda figured it should be higher

I found the the specs in the shop manual. And it said bumper frame torque is 90 lbs ft. So that is what I did.

I just installed a Mopar steel bumper this week; and the Mopar instructions said 67ft-lbs for the 8 frame horn nuts.

I just installed one this week. According to the instructions it is 67 foot pounds.
