Looking for ideas/solutions for exterior rod holders on 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sport JL. I do not have a trailer hitch, so I am looking for ideas for maybe a bumper mount. Post pics if you can. Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for rod holders to use while fishing or storing super securely while driving? If while fishing and not moving, I put the rod in the tow hook in the back. Holds it perfectly.

You can get front or rear fishing racks from a number of sources. Some are mounted directly to the bumpers but quite a few require a hitch. The most popular here are front mounts, mounted to a front hitch so the rack can be easily removed if necessary. My rack is a roof type but I am thinking of getting a front mount also for convenience on the beach. I personally don’t like a front or rear mount for traveling unless it is a relatively short distance. My friend just had a front receiver mounted on his JL for his rack. His hitch is made by Curt, easy install with the hardest part being the cutout in the fairing under the bumper. With a soft top like yours you are kind of limited to a front/rear rack.
