So nothing too exciting here but wanted to share my first experience off-roading for those still waiting to be first time owners with orders. My family moved to CO a couple years ago and we love the outdoors here so the Jeep was a natural fit. Didn't go crazy just explored some roads near the front range that you probably wouldn't take a car on but any 4x4 would work. Both my 4 year old and 2 year old had a blast and enjoyed the frequent stops to play near streams and in the woods. Much better than video games or TV.....plus they are already begging for more "Jeep Adventures". Only part no fun for me was having my Type A personality have to wash and vacuum the Jeep as soon as we got home. I hope this Jeep cures me eventually :)

Pictures are always the best part:

Beautiful scenery. What you are doing with your kids will stick with them forever. We have always camped. I did it with my dad when I was little. My 6 kids do it to this day. Even though the youngest is 25 We still get together and camp. big sur. Usually. Now the kids go with their gf and spouses and friends. As for the jeep and type A. My suggestion is save the type A part for maintenance. of course wash and clean sometimes as needed. But don’t let it look like a mall crawler It’s a jeep use it like one. Explore go and do .

Looks fun. I don't hesitate to get my Jeep dirty but I always try to get it washed afterwards. What part of Colorado were those trails at?

Yeah, I too am new to Colorado, or at least will be when employment takes me there. Never owned a Jeep nor even a truck, so I'm looking forward to ordering, owning and exploring with mine.

When I was younger my parents took me jeeping through Colorado. One of the fondest/scary/exhilarating places we went was to mosquito pass. It's pretty much a one lane trail on the side of a mountain from what I remember... impeccable views and mine shafts all around that area as well.

Welcome to Colorado. Used to be a great place to live

Trails the envy of the world are within a couple short hours in every direction. Amazing here!

Just West of Sedalia, CO near Rampart Range....we weaved our way through from there to Conifer, CO.
