Factory LED Taillights

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere. I don't want all the safety features that come bundled with the LED tails. Are the OEM LEDs a direct bolt on replacement for the non LED lights and housings? Thanks

Yes, the led taillamps are available without blind spot monitoring sensors, which are part of the advanced safety group. This can be done on Saharas and Rubicons, by checking the box for LED Lighting Group. The Sports only get led head and fog lamps, via the LED Headlight Package. I'm not sure if the advanced safety group is available on the Sport, which would come with LED taillamps.

If you had a wrangler with incandescent taillamps, you could bolt on the LED version but it may require a dealer flash for them to function properly.

LED tails are included in the safety package on all models except the non S sport model. I would assume they are all the same since the blind spot monitors are built into the housing.
