Hey everyone just kicking a light bar idea around here..... I have a 21 high altitude that I'd like too add a front light bar too but I'm not a fan of the roof mounted or cowl mount style and I don't want too replace the front bumper too have one Integrated with it. Has anyone ever done an under mount bar on the front bumper? I've looked around but didn't see anything out there. I'm not really concerned with any clearance issues. If anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks everyone.

Oracle has one integrated in a skid, not sure if it works with a factory bumper.

I wouldn't want a light bar under my bumper, it would get destroyed for sure.

My lightbar mounted directly on my factory steel bumper, so convenient.

Downside, I have to remove it when I install my winch. I'll have to get pods on the side, and also cowl.

I thought about doing an under bumper light, then decided I was going to do what JINO did there. Unless it was part of an integrated steel skid plate I just know I would destroy something under the bumper in short order.

That being said,…

What size light bar did you use here and how did you mount it exactly? This is what I am looking at doing and I ordered a 25” thinking it may be a little too long now. I was also looking at the Grimm off-road steel bumper light bar mount they have but it looks like it won’t be usable for this since it is made more for a 10 max wide mounting point. I believe the mounting points on the 25” bar I ordered are movable though so may still fit. Don’t really want to order that mount if I don’t have to though. Did you mount it directly to the factory holes?

This photo shows the bolts I was looking at when i was deciding what size to order and was planning on using the bolts under the tape measure for mounting. Just not sure now.

Thanks in advance

I have a 20" light and it mounted perfectly to the bumper.
I removed the plate for the winch, installed light, and put the plate back, with the wire going under it.
I'll take a picture later when I can.

That would be great, thank you. Which light did you end up buying?
