With the virus keep us home I’m spending a lot of time in my basement. Kid’s practice music down there, my workshop is there, and now fitness area.

How concerned, if at all, should I be over exposed insulation? We’re not disturbing it.

I don’t want to bury access to plumbing and electrical. I was thing of just stapling brown packaging paper over the areas where we spend time. Worth the effort?

its hard to tell in the pic. but it looks like the expandable foam vs fiber type. if thats the case, you should be ok.

That is not expandable foam. That is fiberglass insulation. Undisturbed I would imagine to be no problem though, I'm no expert.

It’s fine. If it bothers you there’s a netting that’s made to be stapled to the studs and joists to keep cellulose insulation in place, but you don’t really need it. That’s pink fiberglass. You could staple some up of it gives you peace of mind. Might look a bit neater.
