ESS battery replacement.. Wait.. What?

So I have a problem where my ESS doesn't work, took the car into the dealer and they found that the battery was not taking charge.
The importer of Jeep to Norway, do not want to let this be replaced under warranty, which is found insane.

The dealership quoted me $750 for replacing just the ESS battery.. Likewhat? The price of the battery itself supposedly is $670.

What to do now? Can I get any battery? What are the specifications for this battery?
And oh, I have the 2.2D.

Just saw your post, but you can buy replacement at Costco. Cheap and great warranty.
About 1 hour to change.

Update: Got it covered under the 5 year warranty. But only after a lot of back and forth with both dealer and importer.
