After wheeling this past weekend, I found that the plastic around my wiring had started to melt, and need a better solution to keep my wires up and away from the engine. I purchased a set of little tie down hooks that I want to place under the bolts at the top of my hood, but wasn’t sure what they are. Does anyone know what these bolts are for, and would I run into any issues if I added in these tie down hooks (they’d act as washers).

Washers/Tie Downs:
Melted Wiring:
I'm also open to any other alternatives to keeping my wires up closer to the very top of the engine bay - this was the best idea I could come up with.
