EGR Cooler Failure

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced an EGR cooler failure. I'm at 77,000km and mine decided to throw a heap of codes which seemed to be unrelated (FCW needs service, Stability Control needs service, ABS needs service). Took it in and they had it for a couple of days diagnosing. First they thought it was a short in the wiring harness but finally came back with the cooler failing.

Nope, no EGR issues. So far in 5 years (77,000 km) I've had the following:
- Changed the alloy steering box for the upgraded cast iron one under TSB/warranty
- Oil leak from oil cooler (warrantry)
- Tiny coolant leak from water pump, replaced under warranty
- Minor coolant leak from manifold fixed (warranty)
- Coolant leak from pipes near the steering box cause by rubbing due to poor install of the steering box 2 years previously. (warranty)
- Both batteries replace under warranty

Update:

Got it back Tuesday after 7 weeks (should have been 6 weeks but the batteries died while it was at the dealership so they had to wait for replacements).

Was driving it on Saturday and had a loss of power. Could hear air escaping when on throttle. Left on a tilt tray this morning back to the dealer. My guess is that someone forgot to tighten a clamp somewhere in the intake tract resulting in a hose popping off and a massive boost leak.

I'm on my 3rd oil cooler and 3rd set of batteries. As much as I like it I think it's going to go very soon.

your profile says you have an EcoDiesel, but this is posted in the 2.2L 4-Cyl Turbo Diesel Engine & Exhaust forum.

it might just be me, but i've never heard of the 2.2L being referred to as an "EcoDiesel"; just in case if makes a difference, can you please clarify which powerplant we're talking about here? the 4cyl turbodiesel, or the 3.0L 6cy turbodiesel?

3.6L
Coolant line ruptured back of egr drivers side near firewall….still have 60k power train warranty and 75k extended warranty…dealership refuses to repair the vehicle…saying rubber hose is not covered
