DV8 Inner Fenders

I knew these things were going to be a disappointment from the day I installed them. The original mount to the frame relied on a plastic Christmas tree plug. That fell out after 2 weeks, zip ties were the temp solution until I eventually bolted them to the frame. They lasted about 6 months until the damn things shredded like tissue paper and jammed into the sway bar.

Oh wow did the bolt for the swaybar link cause that?

I've had the RC ones installed for a couple years now. I did not install the panel that has the really big "RC" lettering on it.

Not 100% sure. It looks like the black piece just bent back from highway speeds and got sucked into the sway bar.

Have had mine on for six months with no issues (knock on wood).

I've had mine on for over two years with no issues.... bought them used off FB, repainted them and installed per their website instructions. So far, so good...

I'd venture to say you're both not Diesel. The design was the same no matter the motor and I believe that's where these failed.
