I would like to take some video footage also, but really it is just a grown up toy. Was looking at the DJI Spark.
I own the Spark and it's definitely a grown up toy and then some. It can take video as it follows you around the trail and you can use your phone to see what it sees. Would definitely recommend.

Do you think it is to much to learn on?

I was given a Breeze drone for Christmas. I seems to be a fun cheap way to learn. It was only $100, so if I break it or lose it no big deal. It has follow mode as well. My big complaint is that it is slow and doesn't go very far but for $100 its ok

Mavic Air is pretty cool, but I have no other point of reference other than the one my son got a few year ago for Christmas that I lost in the wind after flying for about 2 minutes. That one, not so cool. Mine was bought just for filming Jeep trips is doing the job. I just need to get better at using it!
