Can someone confirm for me if CFX3 45 will fit behind the seat of a 24 4dr/ I’m curious if it’ll fit on the left side nearest the power port. I’m thinking I may need a 90° 12 V adapter to keep it close but I know it also needs to vent on that side.

From what I can tell, it looks like it should fit. I’m just wanting to double check before I pull the trigger.

Thank you

Not sure on the 24 but it fits behind our 23. The location of the 12v power source is not in an ideal location so I put the fridge on the passenger side with no issues. If we pack for a long trip I use a portable power station to run the fridge which works well.

It will be a tight fit. However, I suggest you run the ARB fridge receptacle kit. It's nothing more than a bunch of wire that you fish from your battery to the receptacle, which you can put anywhere that's more accessible. The big plus is the kit comes with 12 gauge wires, so you have no power loss from the battery to the fridge, and the receptacle locks the plug in place so it won't wiggle out as you are bombing across Utah or whatever. ;)

From the measurements, I’m seeing it looks like it’ll fit, but when I when you say tight, I’m assuming just little spare room front to back not wedged in there if you will..

I am going to install the Goose Gear cargo platform tomorrow. I will be running 2 Iceco slides. My Iceco VL35ProS will be on one side and a Milwaukee tool box on the other. I did a dry fit yesterday and decided it was closer than I wanted with the fridge on the driver's side so I am going to run the tool box on that side. I have already wired it with the ARB receptacle kit. The fridge measures 28.1x15.9x15.7. It technically fit on the driver's side but I can't measure worth a dang so I want to make sure I have some room for error.

Yes, front to back is close tolerances. It also depends on how you are mounting it. If you are using a slider like one from American Adventure Lab, you will need to push it all the way to the front of the slider and bolt it down. There will not be enough room to use straps.

I have the CFX3 45 on an American Adventures Lab flip and slide in a '23, which raises it a couple inches off the floor, and it just fits. I feel a tiny bit of push-back from the driver side seat back when I slide it all the way in. I like the way it fits. Causes no issues with dropping the seat back and raising it back in place. Probably fits without any interference on the AAL fridge slide (no flip) or the AAL sliding shelf, which I have on my passenger side.

If I’m not using a slide and just using the tiedown straps to the existing hooks, does this affect the front to rear clearance versus a slider?

I have a '23 4XE and a Dometic CFX3 55IM and it fits on the left side in the rear long-ways, it is close, but fits. Like you, I am not a fan of where the 12V plug is but get it as close without touching or hitting the plug. As you mentioned there is a fan on that side, so I figure its good for airflow anyway.

I was also looking for a 90-degree bend, but not sure how close I could get it anyway.

I also have a Jackery and plug that in at time, although I also have a dual-battery system, but hey.

I have the Domectic power kit and installed it in my truck bed so I can use the fridge there, I bought another to run in my Jeep but just haven't done that yet.

Not being on top of anything should make it fit better. I have no experience with the location of the tie downs compared to attachment points on the fridge and what affect, if any, that has on location of the fridge.

Does this fit with the handles or without the handles?
