Since we all know the JL has two batteries what’s the easiest way to kill power so while working on the electrical system you don’t short something out, I have looked at the hookup and it seems that if you disconnect the smaller negative connection from the main negative terminal and and also disconnect the main negative terminal it should kill power, it looks like the smaller cable connected to the negative terminal goes to the ESS battery and if you don’t disconnect it from the negaive terminal along with disconnecting the main negative terminal power will flow thru.

Sure do miss the days of pulling just one connection but guessing since there is that second battery involved it takes more, I looked at the schematic and it seems that if you pull the negative terminal and then disconnect the smaller terminal from the negative cable it does the same thing but I may have gotten my wires crossed ...lol
