Has anyone else had a stutter when changing gears? Mine has done it about 4 times now. No CEL or anything. When accelerating it will "stutter" when changing gears occasionally. Almost like it cuts out for a second then comes back but in the next gear. Anyone else have similar issue?

Nope. I would get that documented with the service department. After they hook up to it, take it for a drive , and then proceed to tell you everything is fine. I'd then think about a trans fluid dump and fill. Not much else you can do.

I suppose you could try to find a really good tranny place and have them do the same thing the dealer did. You might get lucky and actually figure something out. I kinda doubt it though.

I know the trans isn't the exact same, but go check out any place that you can find issues with the regular ZF8.

Its got 2100 miles on it so ill just call and schedule it. Like you said, at least its documented then. Its very random and far apart when it does it. Its been about a week before today since its done it.

Got a video you can upload showing the weird shifting? I'd definitely get that documented with a service department as a Jeep dealership.

Is it under hard acceleration or normal driving? Do these motors have a "defuel" built into the programming? I know the Duramax/Allison used to have a defuel while shifting programmed into them from the factory to save wear and tear on the trans. I would feel it most under hard acceleration in my truck.

Jeep Wrangler JL Diesel/Transmission Stutter 20AE9341-5DE5-45B4-8029-7AC550CE410E

With the Engine warmed app 25miles, stopped at a light went to accelerate, 1st gear slipped pretty hard then this came up. Went into limp mode. No faster than 35mph. 19k miles trouble free???

Turned out to be a failed wiring harness near the exhaust of the engine. The fatal 3.0 diesel flaw.
