Thanks everyone. I think I should got a bellypan as my next upgrade.
This is not my first undercarriage damage, and as ppl have said, it will not be my last.
Just curious...

Does your oil dip stick read high ? Just wondering if the dents are big enough to change your reading.

Just one of those mmmm things

Yeah, I really want to install a steel belly pan only reason I haven’t already is because Jeep can’t seem to fix a transmission leak. About to go back in for the leak a third time.
I had the transmission leak too. I hit the crossover exhaust pipe pretty hard and it started around then. Right next to your contact location. For me, they dropped the tranny and changed the front pump and seal. 6 week wait time for the seal when I had it done a year ago. They never mentioned, or addressed, the egg shape dent in my crossover pipe but I had that changed on my own dime. 550 bucks.

Ouch! Sucks about the pipe..

Unfortunately my understanding of it is the leak is due to a manufacturing defect with the 4XE and ultimately the only real fix is a complete replacement of the transmission. Meanwhile at the dealership they keep tightening lines and whatnot.. I mean, I get it, but I'm so over it.

Wow. It's really a roll of the dice with these things. I just purchased the Mopar power train plus extended warranty. Now I have that, in addition to a third party warranty for non drive train items.

It's weird. I don't trust it, I know I'm gonna live at the shop, but I still love my jeep lol
