Now that spring is upon us, I am looking to switch the hard top with the soft top. I used to have OwlCamera on the JKU but that company has gone downward and my original camera no longer works.
I am in the market for a new dash cam for the JLU, so wanted to see what everyone is using these days. I have been looking at the Blackvue cameras, and cellular connection is a must, since the soft will be on, along with top down during nice days. I sometimes take the train into the city, so when my car is parked, that is when the real requirement for the camera comes along.
I like the Blackvue, but only one option has built in LTE connection. All the 4k cameras require an additional module for cellular, which I do not want. I have an SPOD installed, so I plan on using that source for power.
Any other cameras that I should be looking at that meet my needs?
