Dash dimmer swith in 2023 JL

The 2023 JL have one dimmer switch to control the interior and dash lights. Can I swap out this switch for the one from a 2022 which has separate controls for the interior lights and the dash lights?

Why is the wiring different ? IF so, can they be separated ? I am more than capable of splitting out the wiring or changing out the connector if I can get a diagram of the wiring.
