Hey guys - I've been browsing around ExtremeTerrain, Quadratec, etc. looking at cab covers and full covers that I could throw over the jeep when I'm parked at work if a storm if going to pass through.

JL covers are few and far between. Seems the Mopar one is not out yet, and the Rugged Ridge one is getting horrible reviews (seems to rip immediately).

Anyone try a JK cover on a JL and have it fit? Don't know how much it would help the dimensions, but it would be without the hard top on. I'm sure there are other factors like different places the cover would latch between the two models, but thought it was worth a shot. Thanks!

Thanks! It's back ordered at Quadratec, but I'm dumb and just didn't even check the Mopar site. I gotta start working that into my rotation.

I ordered the Mopar one and have it sitting in my garage. Haven’t been able to use it yet, unfortunately.

Have you had a chance to try it? I’m wondering if it fully covers the back of the jeep when the soft top is down...many covers leave gaps when the soft top is in the lowered position. The new soft top is quite bulky

Thanks in advance (and a pic would be awesome)

My JKU Rain Gear Trail cover is a moderate fit on my JLU. The JLU soft top is very bulky and there is not enough material to properly cover the back while maintaining the coverage in the front (if doors are off). I’m hoping the mopar one works. Rain Gear has yet to offer a JLU version and my email inquiries have gone unanswered.

I don't have the jeep to try it yet, unfortunately, but the pictures show that it goes below where either the soft or hard top cover, so yes, it should.

Anyone see any new alternatives to the Mopar one? I would love a half cover like Rain Gear has but so far, they only have the trail one, which I assume will fit like my Mopar one and not cover the soft top folded. Ideally, I would like one that goes over the soft top and covers the doors and back, which RG has for the JKU but won't answer on the JLU.
