About a month ago I started cold plunging. I ruptured my pec tendon about 3 months ago and figured it couldn’t hurt.
Turns out sitting in 35 degree water makes me “feel” better for most of the day. I’ve done a bunch of research( watched countless YouTube videos and podcasts) so I’m familiar with its effects.
I bought a cheap set up from Amazon to test it out. Basically a material drum that holds about 90 gallons of water. No chiller or pump. Im in NY so with the weather hovering between 30-40 degrees the water temp is perfect. I just have to clean it out after it rains or after 2 weeks. Since the last week of Arctic temps it’s frozen solid.
I’m curious to see other set ups if there are any fellow cold plungers out there.
