Cobra 75 WX ST Wire Guage

I have ordered the Cobra hand held unit and plan on wiring to the battery. I want to go ahead and get wire ran before it gets here. Does anyone know what gauge wire is coming from the unit?

I believe it it about 16-18awg wire from the box and is about 4' long.
No more amperage than that radio draws you would probably be fine with 16awg wire, 12-14awg if you feel more comfortable.
