I was planning on a Calico run this Saturday, but couldn’t generate enough interest. Is anyone here interested to run cleghorn this Saturday? It’s back open! I’d rather do pilot rock but that one is still closed.

Probably looking to meet up around 9AM, but tbd based on interest

Wifey’s getting a new tattoo for her 50th birthday on Saturday, otherwise I would be totally down to go with you.

Probably 3 hours or so, give or take, taking your time. Relatively short trail overall. Depends how long you spend playing on offshoots

Sweet it’ll be nice to have a few others there.

Rocking a 3.5” lift on 38s, operation overkill for this trail of course lol. The rest of the details are in my build thread.

I’m down to hit the “chute” or skip it… I don’t mind either way

I’ll have my little one with me so there is a chance we’ll need to stop for a little break once or twice but probably will be fine since it’s a shorter trail

I’ll see if my uncle wants to go in his Jk and my other cousin in his Lexus Gx.

and nice same here but on 37’s. Want my tires to go out already to move up to 38’s lol. You’re on 5.13’s ?

I haven’t been there in a long time so I don’t remember what it’s like but I’m always down to put the jeep to the test !

and no worries I’m taking my girl and my cousin too so they’ll probably want to stop just as often lol

Sounds good!

And nah factory 4.88s. 5.13s or even 5.29s would be nice but not worth the coin, 4.88s is not bad at all

Looking forward to wheeling!

Yeah you wouldn’t see much difference probably with a regear.

We usually meet up at the chevron in the back when we do lytle creek. Do you want to meet there or at the trail head instead ? I fill up by my house so either place works.

I usually meet at the Chevron off 138, but your spot is nice, no back tracking. See you tomorrow around 9AM. I'll Dm you my cell#

Jeep Wrangler JL Cleghorn 10/19 1729313374510-fj

Front shocks swapped out for Rocksport Reds and mounted on their outboard mounts. Gained about 3" of travel from my Billstein 5100s! Wooohoo.

LHS Before, RHS After (and I think there was still a smidge left, I was focused on checking brakes lines and other etc. things like that.

What angle is your sway bar at when level ? I just adjusted mine today about an inch and a half higher because I was feeling like something was not letting my front end flex as much as it should

LMAO I meant to send this to my build thread. Its about 12 degrees up, it does not get close to inverting on full droop. Maybe we can take a look tomorrow if there is a good flex rock somewhere and figure it out

It’s all good lol. I need to start one and start doing tutorials cuz man I can’t find shit online for the stuff I put on my jeep. Took me an hour today to get my oil skid installed cuz the videos online had totally different hardware than what they sent me. I was about to call quits and send it back!
I set mine up to 18 degrees up. I was probably like at 6 up before that
