Hi everyone, I'm a new JL owner and the car might have had an undisclosed issue from the previous one so I need to "date" when certain codes appeared.
I know DTCs contain at least mileage for when they appear but does clearing the codes "reset" the saved mileage? Does the computer keep a log somewhere of all DTCs that have appeared, including cleared and inactive ones? I got myself an OBDlink MX+ recommended for Jscan but I haven't figured out how to see the mileage of DTCs for myself or access some kind of history, is that something I can do or would I need to visit the dealership for that?
