CavFab JL Gate Plate (Spare Delete)
This has been one of our most popular JL products to date. Without getting into the whole carry a spare vs not carrying one debate our JL Gate Plate really cleans up the tailgate for those who choose not to run a spare. Our Gate Plate includes a new license plate light, a camera mount, and options for a third brake light. Also, for those who prefer not to cut / splice wires we offer a direct plug / play harness. All wiring for the gate plate can be ran through the tail-gate vents for finished, clean look.
We have 3 different configurations for a third brake light:
1. Utilize the factory 3rd brake light: If you choose this option we put a provision in the top of the plate that allows the stock 3rd brake light to mount to the top of the plate.
2. LED BackLit 3rd Brake Light: This option gives you a red strip of LEDs that sit inside the gate plate and illuminate the CAVFAB logo.
3. No brake light: Some folks simply choose not to run a 3rd brake light, or want to go another route with their brake light, so this options is for those folks.
