Those aluminum boxes can be hit or miss, ours was fine day to day, but on a long road trip in 100+ degree temps the play in the steering increased to the point where it was a concern. Having the cast iron box combined w/ the longer Mopar lift LCAs made high speed cruising a breeze w/ no wander whatsoever until crosswinds, then all bets are off lol.My steering box is aluminum from what the magnet tells me. I dropped the tire pressure to 32 lbs from 35 and it feels better. Picked up an angle finder tonight so I will check the axle in the morning. I will take my steering stabilizer loose tomorrow as well to see how much it is or isn’t dampening. The body is dented but seems to not be loosing fluid.
