I’m installing the Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) system in my 2021 JL. JL did not come from the factory with BSM option. I’m installing the OEM sensors in my LED taillights, SUMA mirrors and custom wiring harnesses.
My question is this, if you installed BSM after purchasing your Jeep regardless of which BSM system you chose to install, did you get and error codes? If so, did you do a Sleep Cycle or two to reboot/reset the ECU/BCM to clear out any possible glitches, issues, or errors?
I double checked all the connectors and wiring based on the instructions and the BSM system diagrams from AllData. All looks good from a physical installation standpoint.
Any assistance, wisdom, or advice would be greatly appreciated.
