I recently lifted my jeep and the brake lines and FAD lines were unclipped from the frame as recommended. I have the original brake lines and I noticed that the lines were hanging loose by the axles. I didn't like the looks of that thinking those lines could be snagged easily. I put a light weight spring to the lines to pull them up and away from the axles. At full lock the brake line is really close to the tire and I can see it can easily rub against the tire. My question for you learned people is getting the stainless steel brake lines a good idea. Are stock lines good enough. Also how do keep the lines up and away from obstacles and stay away from the tire. Thanks

I added longer stainless braided brake lines to my rig after I lifted it just to make sure that under full articulation there was zero tension on the line. The added benefit was a better pedal feel as well.
