In every vehicle I've ever owned, I've always ended up with at least one blown speaker. It always happens listening to the same piece of music (yes, someone told me to stop listening to it - no it's not going to happen). It happened again. This time it's in the sound bar on the driver's side. Is it worth upgrading the speakers? I have the "Alpine Premium Audio System" currently. I'm assuming that's what the problem is - buzzing, not much sound, etc.

(For the record, I was blaring the Mozart Requiem when it happened)

It may not be blown! I had a similar experience with my passenger overhead soundbar speaker and I put my hand on it ...the buzzing stopped. Just do a quick look see! it may be loose or the cover/grate might be loose. in any case if you wedge a piece of cardboard in it may silence the noise. did for me even after I tightened it. I eventually changed out the speakers even though there was nothing wrong with them. A few other members have had the same experience.
