Either the regular price or the This week pricing for the JL 4-Door is wrong.

Have you heard from your customers about issues with the body mount bolts breaking? I had ACE sliders on my 2014 JKU and want to put them on the JL we have on order, but the stories of broken body mount bolts is making me a bit wary.

We have ACE sliders. We used a blow torch to heat the bolts to be extra safe and no issues removing them.

I just recieved and installed mine today(should have held out for the sale but oh wells). Install was super simple for my jlur, the rear 2 bolts on both side seem to not have any loctite and came out super easy. The front on both side had alot of red loctite which was a pain to get out, heat did help. Another thing to note when trying to install the middle bolt, get something to pry down the bolt as you tighten as the retainer is loose and it is hard to get started.

There were a couple of customers early on that we heard from that had broken bolts. We're not sure if the first run of JLs had a stronger locktite on them, but it seems to not be nearly the issue that it was. We've sold thousands of sets and installed hundreds of pairs ourselves without breaking any bolts.

Thank you,
