Better refrigerator option?

Why not use a swing out table, like the old school desks, or the tables you see at theatres for refrigerators etc. Swinging all that stuff away unclutters the area and gives access behind it all.

Then you have to remove all the items in back so it can swing out. At least sliding straight out you can still have your items to the side of fridge.

Well, it would have to slide straight out a little bit, in order to make the corner. Maybe a combination of both? A short slide forward, then swing around the rear corner?
