So I just picked up my 2019 Firecracker Red Rubicon, absolutely love it. I have seen tons of posts on putting 35's on it and new wheels. I want to eventually maybe within the year slowly get to where I have 35's on 17x9's with a 2.5" lift.

I like the look of the tires sticking out a little, not a ton, maybe an inch or two? So question would be, to get that look if I had to pick new tires or new wheels what would be my best option?

My initial assumption would be to get a 17x9 wheel with a -6 or -12 offset and put stock 33 tires on those. Then at a later date once the stock tires get a little older put 35's on and finally finish it off with the lift?

Opinions? Thanks..

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Your stock Rubi wheels are only 7.5s, and have an offset in the mid +40s, running a 9" wide wheel w/ an offset around zero will get you a little poke and work well with a lift. IMO that's a good setup for looks and function running 315/70/17s on your lifted Rubi :)
