What is the best 4 x 4 GPS Software to download for my Iphone?
To use offline. and be able to use on my Car Play
I hear Gaia works via CarPlay?
Any thoughts?

I used to use Avenza as that was the standard I became accustomed to from working at wildland fires. Ive recently started using Gaia and have been very pleased. Pleased enough to fork over the cash for a long term subscription. I believe it is the only one with CarPlay capabilities. I like that the maps are preloaded, so you don’t have to remember to scan the area prior to losing cell signal like if you were using Google maps or the like. Don’t expect to be able to stash your phone away while using Gaia on CarPlay however. You can follow yourself on the map and perform a few basic functions, but very few of the advanced features of Gaia are incorporated into the CarPlay display screen.

I just started watching venure4wd on Youtube yesterday based on a recommendation from another thread. He did a video 3 months ago about GAIA and the differences with using GPS for directions. Worth a watch.
