So....I have Armorlite through the front and rear and love it. Problem is, they are still working on the cargo area. I'm trying to wait it out but the cargo area is covered in saltwater and sand almost daily. I have no problem sacrificing the carpet, but I don't want to screw up the cab like I did on my JK by letting water set in the carpet.

I received a sample of the Bedtred and I actually really like it, seems dense enough and rubber/hard on the top to allow for quick cleanup of sand. Any reviews/experience with it in the cargo area?

I am thinking of doing the bedtred kit in my JL. We but the full bedtred kit in my daughters jk and it has held up great over the last few years. My JK is line Xed and hers is easier to clean than the spray in.

I had BedTred front and rear in my 2 Dr JK.
It worked great, easy to clean, no more clingy dog hairs from my 3 GSDs.
This will be my Spring Celebration purchase for my 2 Dr JL.
Amorlite may be a great product, but since it's not available for the cargo area of my 2 Dr, I'll never know.

I’m considering it. It’s made by BedRug, which has been on the market for decades and is pretty impressive too.

Not in my JL yet but will be. I had bedtred throughout my jku and loved it. Front, middle and rear cargo area. Easy install and held up to everything I put on it. Super easy to clean as well.

I have a BEDTRED by bed rug in the back of my Silverado. LOVE IT. It looks and feels like a spray in liner. Never had a problem with it. It has a very slight cushion to it so dropping things like bricks do not cause any damage to anything not even the brick so far. Super easy to clean, oil whatever just wipes out usually. It is reasonably easy to remove if need be too. items tend to stay in place for the most part too depending on what it is. I am new to Jeep wranglers, planning on ordering one when the prices are less whacky here. Hopefully shortly, I was unaware BedTred was an option for Wranglers, good to know.

Just bought it (cargo area only), I was trying to hold out for Armorlite, but........I already have sand and what not getting under the carpet. I'm not trying to destroy the cab of my new JL like I did my JK. I'll report back, maybe take a video, there aren't a ton of walkthroughs on the JL for it yet.

Installed it yesterday, overall happy but it required some modifications. Here's a few tips:

1. I bought the version with gap hider, didn't realize it requires the rear seat velcro to work (I thought the J-clips would connect to one another from the gap hider to the rear cargo piece. Not so much and so the rear Bartact seat covers were covering the rear velcro. I tried to snake the rear cargo piece up under the Bartact but that was not a good solution as it bunched up when the seats aren't folded down.

2. Solution - talked to Bedtred engineer and they gave me 2 options - return for the piece without gap hider or cut. I decided to cut. It actually worked out pretty well, I cut it around the rear seat hinges and then kept enough length to connect it on the carpet holder where the Armorlite connects. I overlapped the Bedtred over the Armorlite so the water would flow from the rear cargo to the rear seat drains.

3. Install - fairly easy other than that one issue, the wheel wells go on pretty well. The piece that goes over the carpet lid for the storage bin is a bit tricky to get snug, but I tightened it up a bit this AM (after these pictures).

Compared to Armorlite - Armorlite is thicker, and overall a better product, however Bedtred is nice in that it can be removed for cleaning if need be. I also like it because I still have access to the storage area. Bedtred also seems to be easier to brush off sand, whereas Armorlite is easier to just wash down.

Overall, I need a solution pretty quick because I didn't want to live with wet carpet and didn't want to destroy the cab. I think it will hold up well.

Which seat covers are those? Do the front seats have the same MOLLE-like backs? I made the mistake of actually using the decorative faux-MOLLE panels on the OEM seats. I hung 2-3 pounds of stuff off the panels, so they promptly broke. This looks like a potential solution.

Does the Bedtred have more seams than the Amorlite ?
Yes, but it's mainly the design of the rear cargo area so you can still open the storage underneath. The wheel hub pieces are all one piece, not really any sewn seams, etc.

They are Bartact tactical seat covers for the JLR, and yes, they are excellent. Highly recommend!
