OK so, a little over two weeks ago, I went to start my Jeep and the engine wasn't turning over. Fuel wasn't getting to the engine, I knew it was either a fuel pump or some stupid sensor that wasn't properly working. Jeep towed it to the dealer, they confirmed fuel pump.
So OK, sometimes you just get a bad part, it is what it is. Then I was told it was on a two week back-order with a date of June 1st. Not too happy, especially with a beach trip planned the next day. So they gave me a JLUS (vs my JLUR) for a loaner in the short term. It give me at least something and I have dealt with it. Today Uwharrie finally opens up, and of course, now have to wait longer since I don't have something capable to handle it. Then, for another punch in the stomach, this afternoon got a text message from my service advisor stating simply: "YOUR PART IS STILL HAS NO ETA"
What should I do here? They will only replace with OEM and it has to come from Jeep directly or another Jeep dealer but I have no end in sight and now over two weeks without my brand new rig.
@JeepCares can you help resolve this please? I can't believe that in the entire country there is not an OEM fuel pump for a Jeep.
