So I'm looking at getting a 2019 4 door, this question is for the people who have the new 2018. I live in the Chicago area and I have a 6 year old, my concern is how cold the back seat will be in the winter. does this have a good vent throwing hot air back there?

Yeah, there's 2 vents in the center console that direct heat into the back seats. Seems to work pretty well for me!

Hi,

It's pretty much winter up here in the Rockies and we're using our heaters on a daily basis.

The JL warms up very fast and the rear seats warm up in short time thanks to its dedicated vents.

On a related note, the heated seating wheel is my favorite feature by far. Almost makes me wish the shifter knob was heated too. Haha!

They will be fine. My daughter was fin in a softtop TJ...with no back heat in Northern Minnesotas -10 to -50. You kiddo will be fine in tropical Chicago
