I love the aux switches in my Jeep but I had two issues.

- the wiring under the dash is hard to reach and manage. I ended up with a bit of a mess of wires as I added accessories

- the closest ground I know of is over by the door so I ended up with several wires running from that area

I found these terminal blocks on amazon and gave them a try. They have six connections which is perfect because that’s how many aux wires are under the dash. I connected each aux wires to one side of the block and have started adding accessories to the other side. It’s easy to keep track of what you have attached to each switch. I also used one as a ground terminal and again much cleaner to run the wires and keep track of what is what.

Next I need to mount these under the dash. I may also look for a waterproof option to add to the aux wires under the hood.

Let me know if you have a better solution.

Have a great night.

Not sure if you know, but the wires under the hood are the same connections as the ones inside except the 2 additional ones that are a constant power and switched that are not controlled by the aux panel. 2 of the Aux wires are a 15amp and the other 2 are 40amp so you need to be careful how much you are drawing off them.

Also, if you are using a centralized ground point you should make the ground wire a larger gauge.

If you already knew all of this, please ignore this post :)

Thank you. I know about the under the hood wires and what I have wired there vs under the dash. Thanks for the recommendation on the ground wire size.
