Australian Non LED headlight globe upgrade

Hello fellow Jeepers,

I have a sport S with halogen headlights and would like to upgrade them before I get driving lights.

I think in Australia we run the H4s.

Has anyone does this?

Can I run LED H4s or will they not really work without the whole LED casing?

Should I just go to Supercheap or whatever and buy their H4s - are they better than standard?
