2020 GLADIATOR (R&D) / '21 BRONCO FIRST EDITION
Hello, from the ARCHETYPE RACING team! We're new to the Jeep community but are very interested in designing and developing the accessories you want at a level of quality and detail that isn't very common in the aftermarket accessory market. We now have a GLADIATOR for R&D and the ideas are flowing!

Our medium of choice is billet aluminum and carbon fiber. Our finished products are stunners, especially coming from a modest sized shop here in the PNW. I'm sure, if you're not shopping for precision machined billet parts all the time, the price is definitely eye opening and for some, a big point of contention. True, some our our parts can be made from cold rolled steel and steel plate, but it'll be missing the sauce. I'm a fan of the sauce. It's not what's typical in the off road market.

Being an Air Force Veteran, made in the USA matters to me. We make it a point to seek out US sourced materials for our parts. That goes for our billet steps, all the way to our titanium lug nuts. All USA sourced materials and machined under our roof.

We cut our teeth in the off road market with BRONCO. What an adventure that has been! New vehicle, tremendous logistic and supply chain hurdles, and high demand... what a combo. I'm sure all of you have felt the affects of the past couple years. All that being said, we're still producing parts as rapidly as quality allows.

That brings us to products! If you might have seen on Instagram, we developed a high quality billet aluminum clamp on step for the JL Wrangler and GLADIATOR that effortlessly mounts on the OEM rock slider. At the onset, we designed the step assembly to be modular. The STIRRUP (step) is a carry over from the Bronco. The clamp assembly is 100% bespoke to Jeep. We also have a very awesome dash accessory mount rail in development. To be honest, the Jeep version is significantly better than the Bronco unit. You will be impressed. Like the STIRRUPS, the dash rail is also a mix of 6061 billet aluminum and 316 stainless steel.

There will be more accessories to come. We'll always take suggestions and input from the community. Being part of the community, we will offer a significant discount to forum members for our Jeep accessories as a thank you for the support. I'll get some threads going for the parts we're about to launch and things we have in development. You're welcome to come along for the ride. Our jeep section of the website will be going live shortly.

I'm often occupied, by many things, often at the same time
If the stirrup were easily removable (meaning could be carried in a bin in the back and used as needed) that would be slick, or if it folded up.

I think one of the things you're going to find is the Bronco market needs something that has plenty of sauce. Although that may be the case with some Jeep folks, many are function-centric.

So, the Bronco crowd wants a pretty billet step. The Jeep crowd may require one that is easily washable, that doesn't collect and trap mud, one that can be mounted or moved in order to reach things on the top of the vehicle (roof rack, antenna mount), etc. For many of the Jeep owners, they will require really well-made dough, because the sauce isn't going to be enough on a crappy pizza.

There are plenty of companies that make pretty products. They don't last in the Jeep community for reasons of function. I'd probably buy that stirrup, but I already know I'd break the mount if it were permanently affixed. I need to put it on when needed and remove it on the trail.

I went to their website and, aside from the stirrup thingy, I can't find any Jeep products, much less JL products. It looks like they cater to ...well, Fords.

Hidden in the OP's rather wordy first post is an admission that they have just the clamp-on step for the Jeep at this time, with a dash accessory mount rail currently in development.

I mean, they did say this is their first Jeep that they're making stuff for, so that's pretty valid.

I'm interested in purchasing the stirrups to give them a try. Any discounts available? I will commit to posting a review to the forum and include several pics of the finished look.

2023 Rubicon would showcase the AR Stirrups nicely ?

At least you took out the Jeep dig on your Jeep products' description:

Those of you that have any of our products know that nothing we do is rinse and repeat jeep level engineering. This is all multi-op, chamfered edges, post machining, color matching OEM+ GOODNESS. Our entire intent is for our MAGNUM to look like it was on your Bronco straight from the factory.
Unfortunately, no 2 Door love—unless one owns a bronco.
