Anyone running a HikeIT PRO Xs? I'm talking to their support but I'm getting a blinking red light on the back, no display and while I don't have any CELs reporting on the Jeep when I run Jscan I'm getting a voltage to gas pedal low.
Which is strange because I had no errors yesterday, but still couldn't light up the Hikeit box. I decided to leave it (just the control box) unplugged overnight and plugged it back in this morning and now I'm getting those errors and when I clear them they come right back. I'm sure they'll go away if I unplug the whole thing which I've done 4-5 times now but I think the blinking red light is some kind of fault alert, the manual says the display has internal fault detection to protect the display, whatever that means.
Unplug Jeep battery, unplug the entire HikeIT, plug it in, plug battery back in? That's the one thing I can think of that I haven't tried so far. I've tried all sorts of "Don't wake up the jeep" things, leaving door open for awhile, key nowhere near it, etc.
I have a feeling its something specific to how I'm doing things vs a bad unit but I could be wrong, also I'm having battery issues so may be related...
edit: To anyone who might read this who knows more about JSCAN/OBD2 -- I don't have any CEL on the dash but when I look at Jscan trouble codes I see the 2 regarding the low voltage pedal sensors. Is this normal? Are the codes clearing or something? Yesterday there were CELs for it when it was doing that. Hikeits completely unplugged right now, has been all day.
