I have a set of RBP stealth steps on order and they keep pushing the availability back.

does anyone have these or amp steps?

I will have a mopar 2” lift and 37s. So,, I am wondering if the drop for the steps will be low enough. I have a bad hip and would really like it to be easier to get in.

since RBP keeps delaying production, I am considering just getting the amp steps. I originally wanted the RBP because the brackets appear to be placed better than the amps. Also the price tag.
Thoughts?

anyone with 37s and similar lift have issues with the drop height?

Go with the Rockslide Engineering, they drop down more than the standard AMP step and they will protect your steps when offroad. AMP does make the XL (they come down 3" more) but the price is the same as RockSlide and still no protection. I got them and love them.

plus you can stand on the top as a 2nd step, I use it all the time for cleaning and taken the top off and on

I have the amp power steps it took a week or so for them to ship because of COVID extreme terrain had them in stock the told me. I love them since my rubicon recon was just high enough that I had trouble get in with my limited mobility. I don’t regret the purchase just now started looking for some armor for the side of the jeep as required by some rallies for certain trails that I’ve read and I don’t want the step t be damaged. They look like the factory piece but you have to realize that they come out at an angle so watch your shins.

my main concern, at this point, is them not extending down low enough for the 2” Mopar lift and 37s. Ty for the info

Since I have the rubicon recon I have 2-2.5” lift and 35’s iirc ans I have no trouble stepping on it the getting in the vehicle. Without I was having to lower the seat all the way push up on my toes and brace my arms and fight my way on the seat.
