I ordered my Ocean Blue JLSU on 4/4. The vehicle is equipped with everything, with the exception on the 2 liter engine and the engine block heater. My vehicle delays are the result of me ordering the FREAKIN Trail Rail Management system. According to the Jeep Hotline (Fake News Hotline is more like it) I had a build date of 6/1 then 6/11 and now 7/2. What the hell man either build my Jeep or send the the Trail Rail system when you finally get it like you did with the Premium Soft Tops. My dealer can’t delete the TRMS as it’s close to being built. Jeep hotline keeps saying all parts are in yet my build date keeps moving. What should have been a exciting experience has turned into a nightmare. My dealer has been supportive but they say it’s out of their hands. I would cancel the order but I stand to lose my deposit. Hopefully I get my 2018 Jeep in time for 2019 snow. Anyone else have a similar horrror story?

Yes,. My order was 3/3, having same issue. I have moved from C to D to C to D to D1 to D to D1.. days have been all over June.
I had one tell me 7/2, but dealer still shows 6/7 as well as the hotline, but has not progressed in the build at all.
TRMS is on mine as well.

I am the point where I would cancel as well.

My Mojito+TRMS just got built and out the door this afternoon...YAY! but now I am worried that it will go in and out of inspections/repairs a few times. I was also informed that it will take about 4 weeks to get to Minnesota.

My original order date was 16 April for Mojito_TRMS. Mojito orders became available 16 May...but TRMS still not ready until 1 June. Then Jeep again reset my order to 1 June, then 16 June, finally KZ on 27 June.

What has bothered me the most is the fact that I tried to delete the TRMS two days after getting the VIN. I was told that TRMS could not be deleted after a VIN was assigned. This was about two months before the TRMS was actually ready (June 1). Each thread that has mentioned trying to delete TRMS has had a different excuse from Jeep about why a delete was not allowed.
One forum member seems to have hit the true reason...Jeep had committed to ordering a specific number of TRMS units and both Jeep and the manufacturer were panicked that not enough orders were going to be placed. Even tho' the manufacturer was at least a month late in producing the product.

... I would cancel the order but I stand to lose my deposit...
I have a similar situation, it's been over 18 weeks of waiting at this point. Best update that I have is that the Jeep is in storage (JS), though is awaiting a spare tire carrier... I thought JS indicated it was built & inspected?

Anyways, after 18 weeks I've been thinking about cancelling & how it would affect the deposit. Typically it's non-refundable, but that assumes that the vehicle has been delivered. If a dealer cannot get the vehicle in the first place, would the deposit be refundable? If so, at what point?

I think on any future car orders, I will require a delivery timeline clause (ie, within 12 or 16 weeks for example).
